PNRR: Funds for modern and reformed Romania.

National Institute for Research & Development of Biological Sciences from Bucharest is partner in the Project “Integrated research and sustainable solutions to protect and restore Lower Danube Basin and coastal Black Sea ecosystems / Cercetare integrată și soluții sustenabile pentru protecția și restaurarea ecosistemelor din bazinul inferior al Dunării – zona costieră a Mării Negre” ResPonSE, cod 18/16.11.2022, financed under the National Plan for Resistance and Resilience call PNRR-III-C9-2022 – I5 Establishment and operationalization of Competence Centers.

Beneficiaries: University of Bucharest (coordinator), University Dunărea de Jos Galați (partner P1), University Babeș-Bolyai Cluj-Napoca (partner P2), University Ovidius Constanța (partner P3), National Institute for Research & Development of Biological Sciences (partner P4), SC ICPE Bistrița SA (partner P5), SC Beia Consult International SRL (partner P6), SC Iceberg Plus SRL (partner P7), SC Centrul de Mediu și Sănătate SRL (partner P8) and SC DDS Diagnostic SRL (partner P9).

Project objectives: Establishment and operationalization of a Competence Center coordinated by the University of Bucharest in the UE Horizon Europa mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters”; consolidation of an excellence national network; development of public-private partnerships; modernizing research, development and innovation resources, including equipment and infrastructures and facilitating access to external users; attracting and maintaining highly qualified human resources for research, development, innovation activities; the support of central and local public authorities, of organizations from the non-governmental sector in order to address societal challenges within specific missions within Horizon Europe.

The total value of the contract: 18 749 960 lei without TVA
